Mystic Fish was formed by Alexandra Fiona Dixon in September of 2000 to play in the Stanford Game. Their first game was MegaHard on the weekend of September 30-October 1, 2000.
Present members of Team Mystic Fish - some of whom live out of state, and therefore don't participate in BANG - include:
- Wesley Chan
- Joseph deVincentis
- Dwight Freund
- Sam Freund
- David Hill
- Larry Hosken
- Brian Larson
- Dave Shukan
- David Walker
Mystic Fish doesn't always play together as a team in BANG, as this is the one event where non-hardcore gamer friends can be persuaded to come out and play. Sometimes Mystic Fish plays as Feisty Mismatch.
Alexandra has played in BANGs 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25 and 26.
Alexandra and Larry were on Game Control for BANG 19 which Mystic Fish co-produced with the Golden Golems, as team GoldFish.
Alexandra, Larry and Dwight were on Game Control for BANG 29 which Mystic Fish simuulcast in San Francisco.
